Minnesota seeks advisory committee volunteers to guide various state agencies as they work together to create coordinated employment services for people with disabilities.

BACKGROUND
In September, 2019, the directors of the Department of Employment Economic Development (specifically Vocational Rehabilitation Services and State Services for the Blind, or DEED) and the Department of Human Services (DHS) agreed to work together to provide employment services for people with disabilities in a coordinated manner. The result of that agreement is a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that lays the framework for the joint effort.

DEED and DHS will depend on the advisory committee to bring a broad range of stakeholder perspectives to their work as they implement the spirit of the agreement.

DEADLINE
Complete and submit this application by March 31, 2020.
