Age-Friendly Minnesota – Call for Grant Application Reviewers

Age-Friendly Minnesota (AFMN) is launching a new grants program and is seeking individuals to serve on an application review committee. AFMN Grant awards will fund efforts to create, improve, or expand innovative systems, programs, built environments, and other initiatives that contribute to age-friendly communities.

AFMN Grants will be made in two categories—Technical Assistance Provider (TAP) Grants and Community Grants—that will be rolled out separately. This call for reviewers is for TAP Grants, which will launch in October. (Click here for more information about the grants.)

Note: Individuals or organizations that plan to apply for any AFMN Grant may not serve as reviewers.
Role of Reviewers:

Reviewers will be provided with instructions and training, and will be asked to review 10-15 grant applications individually using a provided scoresheet. Reviewers will then meet (virtually) as a group to discuss their scores and funding recommendations. Final funding decisions will be made by the AFMN Council.
